For over 50 years, the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen (PGC) has promoted, encouraged, and developed quality comtemporary and heritage crafts. The Guild serves the community and craftspeople with educational opportunities, marketing assistance, cultural programs, information services and fellowship. The PGC is an educational 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Marketing opportunities for members of the PGC and the greater craft community are provided by an affiliate nonprofit 501(c)6, the Pennsylvania Designer Craftsmen (PDC). Membership is open to anyone interested in crafts whether as a craftsperson, patron or educator. The offices are at the Tyler Craft Center in Bucks County, Pa., where an annual workshop series is held. The PGC has a network of 20 chapters throughout the state, and sponsors five craft shows each year. Opportunities for wholesale, buyers' guides, and galleries also exist. E-mail or call for a membership application and more information.
