Profile in Success:
Of Art and Revolution
The Lexington Arts and
Crafts Society
Lexington, Massachusetts is home to a revolutionary organi-
zation: the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society (LACS). Few
arts and crafts organizations are structured like LACS.
Composed of nine guilds, each with its own requirements,
workshops, and class offerings, LACS functions as a gather-
ing place for artists to exchange ideas and techniques.
