TCR Unveils Improved Web Site and Online Forum

he first and longest-running forum for crafts professionals on the Internet is up and running following redesign
and upgrades to The Crafts Report’s Web site at www.craftsreport.com. “This has been a priority for us,” says co-publisher Lammot Copeland Jr. “We were very unhappy that the online forum was down for so long.”

Some of the links on the Web site were found to be incompatible with older software after a new server was installed for the magazine’s editorial material in November 2003. The editors are asking anyone who submitted an Insight Survey online in January or February to please submit it again.

“We always want to have as much participation by our readers as possible,” says editor Mary E. Petzak. “We’re concerned that valuable input has been lost.”

Enhanced search links for articles in previous issues and updated access to the magazine’s comprehensive surveys and special reports are also in place.

The Crafts Report will be making improvements to its Web site on a continuing basis to better serve the growing numbers of craftspeople in the online world. Suggestions, questions or problems with any of the site’s links should be sent to the web editor.
