Voices of Experience
Starting a Craft Business From Scratch

This Month Online: Marquetarian Dana Leake is a longtime resident of the Missouri Ozarks with a lifelong interest in woodworking. Inspired by the woodlands surrounding his home and studio at Dogwood Hill Farm, located in West Plains, Mo., Leake creates intricate images with wood, including flowers and other natural themes. Razor-thin wood veneers are carefully fit into other cuts of wood, creating detailed images with an almost photographic quality. He has also recently expanded his work to include hardwood bandsaw boxes and frames for hand and wall mirrors. Find out more about Dana Leake and his business , click HERE.
